WAYS TO WEAR DENIM TOPS (PART 2): DENIM LONG SLEEVE BUTTON DOWN

These photos are actually old, but I never got around to posting them. I figured this look went perfect with the denim theme. Yes, I realize that I kind of look like a dude in these photos, but there is something I absolutely love about these photos! There's not much to say, other that look, observe and enjoy. I love denim tops and in these photos, I styled it in a way that isn't normally thought of. It's androgynous and eye catching. I hope this inspires you to be more adventurous in your styling. For those of you who aren't into this look, don't worry! I have more feminine looks coming soon!

WAYS TO WEAR DENIM TOPS (PART 1): PHILLIP LIM VEST

I've had my eyes on this vest for months now. I'd been patiently waiting for the spring weather to hold up long enough for me to sport this look. Here is my version of Phillip Lim's Denim Vest look from his spring 2012 collection. This is a easily attainable look and can be done with a simple denim vest. If you'd like, you can cut slits down the sides to the mid waist section, to get the an even more accurate too. And if you want to go all out, roll up your collar, cut holes and loop rope through them. This is such a versatile look that can be worn with many different bottoms. It's also great for many different occasions. This is more a daytime look, and in my next look, I'll be showing you ways to wear denim tops at night.

 Here is my outfit of the day! I was feeling a little bit Alexa Chung-ish. Sorry for the mean face in these photos. Though I hope you enjoy regardless. Lately I've been intrigued by Bloggers Wardrobe. They feature some really amazing bloggers on their site. I love coming across cool and innovative bloggers. They're like any fashion bloggers dream. They also feature amazing, up and coming brands with great aesthetics. It's a wonderful site to draw inspiration from, and something I strive to be apart of. Hope you guys check it out!
